YouSpace Total Experience Kit (TEK 1.0) is an AI tool kit built for designers to empower interactivity for any digital display. It enables designers to create new ways of interactive experience (touch-free gesture control, human recognition and movement detection technology) without having to resort complex engineering or coding.
It provides a fun and effective way to engage with users. With one easy installation, any digital display becomes a smart interactive screen.
The Challenge
Create a simple, hassle-free installation and interactive application process for designers and retailers.
Discovery
Understand the product purpose: Why does the customer need an interactive tool kit?
Retailer Interview - Change advertising content every 2 weeks / High production fee / No intelligent way to track the marketing data.
Designer Interview - Great design ideas, but lack engineering resources / No friendly, full-body interactive tool available in the market.

1.Out of Box Experience (OOBE)
Proper sensor installation on the display is the crucial first step to connect with YouSpace software system.
Design goal: Retailer can easily setup the device within 10 minutes.
No engineering background required, just plug and play.
2.YouSpace Operation System (YSOS)
Once the hardware is properly set up, the next step is to run the YouSpace Operation System (YSOS) for the sensor calibration.
Design goal: A user-friendly GUI allows for the calibration procedure to be completed within 5 minutes.
3.YouSpace Interactive Cloud Service (YS Hub)
Login to YouSpace Hub and start creating interactive applications.
YouSpace Hub is a cloud service system that includes proprietary YS Interactive Content Platform, Analytics, Content Management, and Remote Administration.
It allows designers and retailers to focus on generating and updating their unique advertising content to rapidly attract, interact and track customer behaviors. No engineering or programming skills needed.

Project Results
Hardware setup - Average set up time is less than 10 minutes. (Small shop owner took a little longer - reason being they were a little less comfortable using a PC.)
YSOS calibration - Average completion time is within 5 minutes. Received a lot of positive user feedback.
